Bangladesh v Afghanistan, 1st ODI, Dhaka:: Bangladesh bat, Taskin selected

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza decided to bat first against Afghanistan in the first ODI in Mirpur. Both teams made several changes from their previousODIs, with Afghanistan right-arm fast bowlerNaveen-ul-Haqmaking his debut.

For Bangladesh,Taskin Ahmedreturns for his first international match since his suspension for an illegal bowling action in March.This is Bangladesh's first ODI in more than 10 months, and they have made fourchanges from the XI that played against Zimbabwe in November 2015.

Liton Das, Arafat Sunny, Mustafizur Rahman and Al-Amin Hossain are out, while Taskin, Soumya Sarkar, Taijul Islam and Rubel Hossain were brought in.Afghanistan have made three changes since their last ODI: Javed Ahmadi, Gulbadin Nabi and Yamin Ahmadzai were left out for Naveen, Shabir Noor and Hashmatullah Shahidi.
